Andrew Bremner

Our Chairman and co founder. Andrew spent the majority of his working life in the City, where he established several successful insurance broking Companies. He left the City in 1988 to pursue a more leisurely life style where amongst other things he established several fan clubs from the World of Pop music including those for bands such as T'pau, Eurythmics and Big Country. His involvement with Reefer 90's today is more advisory and much of his time is spent attending Food Exhibitions around the world, promoting our services. His knowledge and experience within the insurance industry has proved a valuable asset in the establishment of our Marine Insurance Terms, which we believe offer the widest and most comprehensive cover on offer to reefer shippers. Andrew says about Reefer 90's

"I have no doubt that the success of the company lies in it's specialisation in reefer cargo".

Gary Milsom
gary@reefer90s.co.uk

Managing Director and co-founder. Gary's background has always been in shipping refrigerated containers. His early years were spent in the operation departments of Cunard, where he looked after positioning, leasing and repairing reefers. In the early 80's he joined the Company's marketing department promoting the greater utilisation of their reefer services. It was the need for reefer groupage services that prompted the establishment of Reefer 90's and it was upon this foundation that the Company grew. Gary is a keen Cricketer and frustrated Golfer, but his passion is National Hunt Racing. He established Reefer Leisure Services in 1994 offering corporate hospitality at many of the major race meetings and having a runner at The Cheltenham Festival is his overriding ambition. Gary says about Reefer 90's

"We aim to eliminate the problems associated with shipping. We should always endeavour to ensure that all parties involved in the movement are aware of their individual responsibilities. Better to ask an obvious question and get it right, than to work on an incorrect assumption"

Elsa Bowen

elsa@reefer90s.co.uk

Our Company Secretary and Customer Services Manager who oversees the day to day running of the Office. Elsa was our first employee joining the Company just three months after its formation. She combines her very full time job at Reefer 90's, with running a Children's gymnastic Club. Of her many responsibilities perhaps the newest and often the most frustrating is dealing with the clearance of Cap goods through new NES procedures, a service which over the lasy year or so has become a job in itself ! Elsa says quite simply

"We genuinely care. We are proud that so many of our customers put their faith in us and regard us an extension of their own offices"

Alan Ellis
alan@reefer90s.co.uk

Alan is our Groupage and Air Freight Manager. His shipping career started in 1955 with Schenker International Forwarding. During the Sixties, Seventies and Eighties he held various operational and sales positions within several shipping Lines. After a brief spell as a landlord, he joined Reefer 90's in 1994 to further develop our refrigerated groupage services. An avid sports fan his love is for the Spurs, but he strenuously denies any rate favours to his fellow Tottenham Supporters. Funny how none of his Customers support Arsenal though. Alan says

"The biggest frustration I have comes from the success of Groupage. You see an individual consignment grow from one pallet to five and the consolidation becomes regular and profitable. Then that shipment becomes ten pallets, switches to a full load and you have to start again."
